John “Jack” F. Lowry III, 71 of Port Saint Lucie, Florida passed away peacefully on June 14, 2026 at home with his devoted wife, Kimberly, by his side.
Born on September 26, 1954, in Manhattan, New York. Jack was the son of the late John F. Lowry, Jr. and Ruth (Wrisley). Jack grew up in Stony Point, New York with siblings Robert, Steven and Eileen. After graduating from high school, Jack attended and graduated from Stony Brook University. He then joined the United States Army. Jack later returned to school to earn his master’s degree from University of Pennsylvania. He went on to enjoy a successful career in Manufacturing and became Vice President of Supply Chain.
In addition to spending time with Kim and their many much-loved Great Pyrenees, Jack was an avid reader. His main interest was history and strategies of how wars were fought. Over the years, Jack amassed a massive collection of books on the subject. Jack, also, loved to tease his numerous nieces and nephews, Merdith, Andrew, Dylan and Heather Lowry as well as Michelle, Shawn and Shannon Thompson. There are many great memories and stories of trips to Walt Disney World and the annual Fourth of July taco eating contest.
