Steven Matthew Falldorf, Sr., a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Cleveland Clinic Martin Memorial North Hospital. Born on May 5, 1966, in Tempe, Arizona, Steven’s life was a testament to kindness, humor, and unwavering support for those around him.

Known for his signature corny dad jokes and an open heart, Steven was the friend everyone could count on. He carried with him a spirit of generosity and an unbreakable willingness to help, never once uttering “No” when someone was in need. His presence was a constant source of comfort—a steady hand to hold, a familiar smile to brighten the darkest days. Those fortunate enough to know him called upon Steven whenever challenges arose, trusting he would always be there.

Steven is survived by his cherished wife, Penny Falldorf, his devoted children: Steven Falldorf, Kip Proctor, Amber Major, and Brooklynn Proctor. His legacy blooms further through his dearly loved grandchildren—AnnAlise, Dillylah, Amy Ann, Mary, and Anthony—each carrying forward a piece of his gentleness and humor. He is also survived by his brother, Thomas Falldorf and many friends whose lives he touched with his friendship and boundless generosity. By his side often were his four-legged friends, Brutus and Punkin, who offered him silent companionship and affection. Though his parents, Paula and Vincent Genco, preceded him in death, their influence undoubtedly helped shape the man Steven became.

Steven’s sudden passing leaves a deep void, however; every laugh sparked by a corny joke and every act of kindness will remind those who loved him that his spirit is a beacon, reminding us all of the power in being a true friend and a loving soul.
