Sandra Lynn Scott

Sandra Lynn Richardson Scott, 69, of Stuart, FL, lovingly known as Sandy, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, with her husband by her side at Advent Health after a long battle with colon cancer. 

Born on August 21, 1957, in Detroit, Michigan, Sandra carried through life the strength and grace that would come to define her. Known to many as Sandy, she will be remembered with deep affection by those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Sandy had a real joy for travel, cooking, baking, and serving the Lord.

Her passing brings sorrow to all who loved her, and her memory will be held close in the hearts of those who remember her life and her enduring spirit. Sandy’s journey was marked by courage, and even in the face of illness, she leaves behind a legacy of resilience and love.

May Sandra Scott rest in peace, and may her memory bring comfort to all who mourn her passing.

Sandra is survived by her husband of 38 years, William "Bill" E. Scott.  

A Service will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon with Pastor John Bartz from The Gathering Community Church officiating at the Stuart Chapel of Martin Funeral Home, 961 S. Kanner Highway, Stuart, FL.  A reception will immediately follow.

A Burial will take place at a small family cemetery, Cherry Fork, in Winchester, Ohio.
