Rose Tartaglino

Rose Tartaglino passed away on October 26, 2023 at the age of 96. Rose was a loving wife, sister, mother and grandmother. She was a driving force and always made sure that everyone in the family was taken care of. She helped raise so many family members and to this day they still talk about their “Aunt Rosie”. Rose is survived by her brother Ben Romano, her daughter Connie Prada, her son-in-law Jaime Prada, her grandson Lawrence Tartaglino Jr, his wife Angela Tartaglino in addition to her many nieces and nephews.

Rose had so many things she loved in life. She loved Elvis! Especially when it was being performed by her son, Lawrence Tartaglino Sr. She had an amazing voice herself. She always put her heart and soul into everything! She loved Betty Boop, Root Beer Floats, Red Door perfume, playing her scratch off cards, going to the casino and of course her chocolate covered cherries!!!! She made the most amazing fried potatoes and eggs and loved stuffed artichokes.

Rose all her life only had one speed, fast, and was always on the move. Up at 5am, doing her hair, putting on her makeup and getting dressed for the day! Even if she wasn’t going anywhere! Up until just recently you would never know that this incredible woman full of energy and life was 96. No one would ever believe her when she told them her age.

Rose endured many things in her life, and it made her the strong women that we all knew and loved. One of the toughest things Rose had to endure was the loss of her son. She loved her son very much. Her son’s birthday just passed October 18th, having been gone from us now since 2015. To this day, even this past week and one of her last sentences was how much she missed her son and how long it has been and still feels like yesterday that she lost him. As you see from the picture, they were together in life and now have been reunited once again.

Rose will be missed by all. The hole in our hearts will never be filled but with time it will heal. We will all live in the memories and great times of this amazing women and all the lives she touched through her journey in life.

We love you Rose!!!
