Peter Louis Grieco, Jr.

Peter Louis Grieco, Jr., age 83, passed away on December 30, 2025, in Stuart, Florida.

Peter was born on October 16, 1942, in New Britain, Connecticut, to the late Peter Louis Grieco, Sr. and the late Mary (Viggiano) Grieco.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Christine (Sgroi) Grieco; his brother, Frank Grieco; his sister-in-law, Donna Grieco; and several nieces and nephews. He was a devoted husband, brother, uncle, and friend whose guidance and generosity left a lasting impact on many lives.

Peter enjoyed a distinguished and influential career in technology and consulting. He began his professional life at Digital Equipment Corporation and later joined Apple, Inc., where he served as a director and was part of Steve Jobs’ original management team. An entrepreneur at heart, Peter founded Pro-Tech Incorporated, a consulting firm specializing in Just-in-Time manufacturing processes and later Oracle implementations. He authored seven books—six on business and one on the process of divorce—sharing his knowledge and experience with a wide audience. In 1997, Pro-Tech was acquired by Deloitte, where Peter became a partner and continued his work for seven years.

Beyond his professional achievements, Peter was passionate about travel and explored the world for both work and pleasure. He deeply loved his family and friends and found great joy in mentoring younger people, especially advising them on interviewing skills, negotiating raises, and advancing their careers. He was an avid Miami Dolphins fan, cherished time spent at his cabin in Blue Ridge, Georgia, and adored his dog, Teddy, and his cats, Toby and Boo.

Peter will be remembered for his intellect, generosity, and unwavering willingness to help others succeed. His legacy lives on in the many lives he touched personally and professionally.

Services for Peter will be held at Martin Funeral Home in Stuart, FL (961 S. Kanner Hwy, Stuart, FL 34994), on Tuesday, January 6th. Visitation/Viewing will be held from 1:00pm-3:00pm and the Funeral Service will be held from 3:00pm-4:00pm.
