Patricia Ann Hall

Patricia Ann Hall passed away peacefully on December 20th in Tequesta, Florida, surrounded by loved ones. Pat will always be remembered for her warm, generous smile, infectious laugh, impeccable sense of style, and the unmistakable scent of her perfume.

She was born in New York City to William and Dorothy (Halligan) Dermody and spent her childhood in Glen Rock, NJ. Patricia graduated from Glen Rock High School, then studied education at Immaculata College in Pennsylvania before beginning her career as a teacher in Canton, MA. She loved to tell stories about her time living and working in the Boston area and made Shrewsbury, MA her home with her first husband, Alfred Desjardin, raising their daughter Nicole and Al’s daughter Michelle.

Throughout her life, Pat loved to travel, exploring destinations both near and far—first with her mother and later with her own family. Highlights of her adventures included the pyramids in Egypt, St. Basil’s cathedral in Moscow, Chinese temples, African safaris, and even scuba diving on the Great Barrier Reef. Pat also took special joy in traveling across the U.S. to visit her beloved brother, William, his wife, Suzanne, and their daughters.

Pat had a true zest for life and an eye for design; this passion led her to pursue a second career in interior decorating, helping others to see more beauty in the world, encourage creativity, and enjoy their surroundings. She pursued this work when she relocated to Florida.

In Florida, Pat was introduced to Gordon B. Hall, Jr. of Greenwich, CT and Juno Beach, FL. Pat and Gordon enjoyed more than two decades together, enjoying time with friends and family in both New England and the Sunshine State. They were members of Old Marsh and Mariner Sands Golf Clubs where Pat continuously worked on her golf game.

Patricia is reunited in death with her husband, Gordon. She is survived by her daughter Nicole Desjardin of Juno Beach, FL, and stepchildren Gordon B. Hall III, Dixon Hall, Meredith Hall, and Michelle Mess. She is also survived by her brother Bill and his family of Bedford, NH and her nieces and nephews who will never forget the love she brought to their lives.

A memorial mass will be held at 9:00 AM on May 14, 2026, at St. Christopher Catholic Church (12001 SE Federal Hwy, Hobe Sound, FL 33455).
