Michael J. Greeley

Michael J. Greeley (Mick) died June 9, 2025, at Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart, FL.

He was born in St. Paul, MN, lived in Mahtomedi, MN, and later moved to Stuart, FL. Preceded in death by wife Barbara, son Michael Jr., and daughter Shannon. Survived by wife Judy, daughter Patti, son Dennis (DeNay), sons-in-law Brad, Brett (Andrea), grandchildren Masha, Nadya, Riley, Casey, Aaron, Colette, and Bryce.

Mick was a lifelong athlete who ran a marathon at age 61 and played softball well into his 80s. He loved his Irish heritage — “sláinte” — and a good laugh with friends. Mick’s Catholic faith was an integral part of his life. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Stuart.

In retirement, Judy and Mick traveled to 23 countries in 23 years. Mick was strong and healthy until the last two years, in which he endured cancer with incredible stoicism, never complaining. He will be missed by his large extended family and many friends.

Graveside Service will be Tuesday, September 16, 2025, @ 11:00 a.m. at Gethsemane Cemetery, 8151 N. 42nd Avenue, New Hope, MN 55427.  Luncheon to follow @ St Joseph's Church 8701 36th Avenue North, New Hope, MN 55427.

Masses and celebrations of life will be held later this year in Stuart and Cape Cod, MA.
