Mary J. Pirone
Mary J. Pirone, 73, of Stuart, FL. passed away peacefully on March 7th, 2025 at The Treasure Coast Hospice. Mary was born in Miami, FL. on September 14th, 1951 to the late Joseph and Mildred (Ambrose) Pirone.
She advocated for herself and other disabled persons.
Mary had many other accomplishments, which include being a Founding member of People's First Advocacy Group Miami, Board member of Quality Care State of Florida, Honorary member of The Transportation Board of Martin County. She was a mentor for Stand Up For Independence (SUFI), A Partners in Policy graduate, she won the Idelio Valdes Award for Leadership and Advocacy, and was a graduate of Toastmasters.
She is survived by her brother, Carl Pirone (Pattie), her sister, Felice Dominguez (Carlos), many nieces and nephews, and was preceded in death by her brother Andy in 1992.
Friends may visit on Friday, March 14th, from 10-11 AM in the Chapel of Martin Funeral Home 961 S. Kanner Hwy, Stuart with a Chapel Service to begin at 11 A.M. with Pastor John Bartz, Officiating.
Burial will follow in Hollywood, FL.
