Joseph S. Mashata

Joseph S. Mashata, 94, of Stuart, FL passed away peacefully on August 20, 2024, with his loving family by his side under the tender care of Treasure Coast Hospice.

He was born and raised in Sudan, Africa. He came to United States of America to Rhode Island in 1973 with his family, Janette and his kids Gracy, Yoland and Shakib. Joseph became a U. S. Citizen in 1979. Joseph had only one job since being in the USA and that was for New England Paper Tube. He was a very dedicated man always helping people and his church. He will be missed by many.

Joseph is survived by his wife Janette Mashata of Stuart, FL daughter Yoland Skidmore, and her husband Fred Skidmore of Stuart, FL, and son Shakib Mashata and his fiancé Doreen of Orlando, FL. He is predeceased by his daughter Gracy Mashata, sister Eivlen Koshakji, and brother Peter Mashata. 

Joseph’s Graveside Service and Burial will take place on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at 10:00 am at Moore’s Cemetery in Stuart, FL with Fr. Paul Officiating.
