Jeanette Adeline DiNallo, lovingly known as “Nett Nett” and “Jetteski,” passed away at the age of 66 after bravely battling cancer. Though she fought with strength and faith, she ultimately passed following cardiac arrest. She left this earth far too soon, surrounded by the love of those who cherished her deeply.
Jeanette was the beloved daughter of the late Andrew and Anne DiNallo. She was a devoted sister to Andrew and Anthony, and to her sister Angela, who preceded her in passing. She was a proud and loving aunt to her nephew Sebastian and niece Katelyanne, and a joyful great-aunt to Makai and Mila.
Though Jeanette never married or had children of her own, she considered her close friends family, and their children were her cherished nieces and nephews. She was a true friend and sister to many — loyal, loving, and unwavering. To know Jeanette was to be remembered, valued, and prayed for.
A devoted Catholic, Jeanette served faithfully as a Eucharistic Minister and devoted herself to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and Holy Cross Catholic Church. She lived her faith daily, always ready to pray for others — often saying she “prayed like a banshee” whenever someone was in need. She faithfully prayed her rosaries for everyone but herself, embodying selflessness and deep compassion.
Jeanette had a vibrant spirit and a heart full of joy. Growing up in Cypress Hills, she loved making the rounds in the neighborhood, always on the hunt for a good block party with a live band. She walked for hours with friends, simply loving life and anticipating her next adventure. She never missed a birthday, wedding, or milestone — remembering every detail about the people she loved.
And in true Jeanette fashion, if she thought you were wonderful, she would call you “dynamite.” And whenever something surprised her or made her smile, you could always hear her say, “Golly Jeepers!” — a phrase that perfectly captured her playful spirit and timeless charm.
In her final months, Jeanette was blessed with an incredible circle of friends near and far who helped her navigate the unfair hand she was dealt. The love surrounding her was a testament to the life she lived and the countless hearts she touched.
Jeanette will be profoundly missed but never forgotten. Her love, laughter, faith, and dynamite spirit will live on in all of us.
