Garon Suzanne Turner

With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for a life beautifully lived, we remember Garon Suzanne Turner of Port St. Lucie, Florida, who passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 14, 2026.

Born on February 2, 1955, in Clewiston, Florida, Garon was the cherished daughter of Kenneth Robert Hansen Sr. and Betty Ruth O’Hern Hansen. From a young age, she carried a quiet brilliance, a gentle spirit, and a steadfast determination that would shape the way she lived and loved throughout her life. Her academic achievements were remarkable—graduating as Valedictorian and Summa Cum Laude before earning her Bachelor’s degree from Palm Beach Atlantic. Yet those who knew her best understood that her greatest accomplishments were not measured by accolades, but by the way she cared for others, offered encouragement, and lived with humility and grace.

On December 31, 1979, Garon married the love of her life, William Harvey Turner. Their marriage was a true partnership—rooted in faith, respect, laughter, and enduring love. Together, they built a home where family was treasured, faith was practiced daily, and everyone who entered felt welcome. Garon’s Christian faith was the foundation of her life. She lived it quietly but powerfully, through kindness, patience, and a heart that always made room for others. She had a special love for gardening -especially in caring for her beloved orchids-tending them with a gentle devotion that mirrored the way she cultivated love, growth, and beauty in the lives of those she touched.

Garon was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Hansen. She is lovingly survived by her devoted husband, Harvey Turner; her son, Ben Turner; her daughter-in-law, Kristi Turner; her siblings, Robbie Hansen and Lisa Conley; and a circle of family and friends who were blessed to experience her warmth, wisdom, and unwavering love.

Garon’s life was not loud, but it was profoundly meaningful. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, gentleness, strength, and a love that will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
