Frank Michael Lodato

Known for his goofy personality, love for his many cats, and absolute refusal to turn his music down, Frank Michael Lodato, 66, passed away at home in Port St. Lucie on May 30th, 2026. Though he was born in Queens, NY on December 21, 1959, he ultimately found his true paradise in the sun surrounded by family down here in Florida.

Frank took great pride in his work as a computer technician, spending all his professional career in the field before retiring due to health reasons. He graduated from Queens Vocational High school in 1977 and received on the job computer technical training with the company he worked for after graduation. In the year 2000, he became an entrepreneur and opened his own computer field technician business called Millenium Computers.

Frank was a family man with a heart of gold, his commitment to his family was boundless. He was a devoted son, a loyal brother, and, above all, a dedicated single father to his two children, navigating the challenges of parenthood with all he had and always putting his children first.

Frank is survived by his children, Carolyn Madden (her husband, Kevin Madden) of Palm City and Karen Lodato of Stuart; his sister, Karen Lorusso Hoskins (her husband, Roger Hoskins) of Stuart; his grandchildren Angelo, Vincent, and Charlotte, who affectionately knew him as Peepaw; his nephews Anthony and Vincent Lorusso and their families.

He was preceded in death by his mother Geri Brauer (her husband Walter Brauer), his father, Michael Lodato, and his brother-in-law, Ben Lorusso.

Frank may no longer be with us, but he will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Let us all raise a can of coke in his honor as we remember him.

In lieu of flowers you can donate to the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast in Palm City as that is where his beloved cats are currently being cared for.
