After a courageous battle with cancer, Donna Flauto passed away peacefully on January 9, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.

Born in Youngstown, Ohio, to parents Daniel E. Ruffner and La Verna Ruffner, Donna was described as a kind and sensitive child fond of kitties and other small furry friends.

In 1960 Donna married Sam. They were married for 64 years. Donna was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, wife, aunt, and friend. Her family was her heart. We will never be able to fill the space left behind by her.

Donna worked for sixteen years as a line inspector at Packard Electric in Warren, Ohio.

In 1980 Donna and Sam moved to Florida, where Donna worked for sixteen years as a Media Assistant at Stuart Middle School. Donna loved being creative and working with the kids. Both were joyful delights in her life.

Donna was predeceased by her parents Daniel and La Verna. She leaves behind her husband Sam, her daughter Cheri, her son Sam, grandson Sal, and great-granddaughters Bella and Olivia. Of all of her jobs, Mom, Grandma, and GG were her favorites.

A graveside service will be held, on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Fernhill Memorial Gardens,1501 South Kanner Highway, Stuart, FL 34994.
