Charlotte "Char" (Garn) Might of Stuart, FL, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2026, with her daughter by her side.
Char, as she was affectionately known, was born in Woodville, OH, to Clarence and Genevieve (Bushnell) Garn in 1928. Char was the youngest of 3 daughters, all of whom predeceased her. After graduating from Woodville High School in 1946, she attended Bowling Green State University, where she met and fell in love with Paul Might of Fostoria, OH. In 1948, they married, and thus she received her "Mrs" degree.
Char proudly worked as a clerk and Pharmacy Technician at M&M Pharmacy in Woodville, OH. She enjoyed knitting, playing cards, volunteering, and golfing. On May 14, 1996, she had a hole-in-one, and it was the high point of her golfing experience. She belonged to two card clubs and was a member of the Woodville Book Guild. Char was a Trustee at the Woodville United Methodist Church for years. Char was also known for her famous sugar cookies and enjoyed baking sweet rolls for others.
Her parents moved to Jensen Beach, FL, and a sister and brother-in-law retired to Stuart, FL, so it was only natural that Paul and Char purchased a winter home in Stuart, and later became full-time residents.
Char is survived by her loving daughter, Lisa (David) Barger, grandchildren Shawn (Marci) Might and Victoria (Tony) Cappelletty, 7 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and caring friends. She was predeceased by her husband of 73 years, who passed away in 2021, and her son Jeffrey Might, who passed away in 2022.
