Stuart – Beverly “Bev” Rios Wilson, 59, of Stuart, FL, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2024.
Beverly loved her family and friends. Her faith was a source of strength and inspiration for her, and she found comfort in her spiritual practices. Saint Joseph’s Church was her refuge where she served as a lector. Walking the beach, boating, golfing, and daily workouts with friends at the gym were regular activities that brought her joy. Walks with her beloved dog Ollie always brightened her day.
Beverly’s professional life included an early career in occupational health and medicine, where she was a national sales director and trainer. Bev was an inventor and holds a US patent for an invention inspired by her companion Ollie. More recently, she started a new career as a real estate agent in Florida, through which she developed many meaningful friendships with her clients who became dear friends.
Beverly is survived by her husband Gary Wilson of Stuart, FL and daughters Zoie Wilson of Stuart, FL and Lexi Wilson of Charlotte, NC; her mother MaryLou Avalos of Tucson, AZ; her brother Bernie and his wife Alma Avalos of Tucson, AZ and sister Marisa and her husband Jeremy Cooper of Ocala, FL; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Bev was predeceased by her father Miguel Avalos.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at 10:00 am at St. Joseph’s Church, 1200 SE 10th Street, Stuart, FL.
