Beverly A. Ward passed away peacefully on October 10, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 13, 1939, and shared a beautiful 65-year marriage with her devoted husband, John T. Ward.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Irene Brown; her brothers, Joseph and John Brown; and her beloved daughters, Gaylene Clayton and Megin Ward.
Beverly leaves behind her cherished daughters, Kathleen Olsen, Kimberly Falvey, and Melissa Jackson; and her caring sons-in-law, Jim Clayton, Robert Olsen, John Falvey, Stephen Jackson, and Hank Darby. She was a proud grandmother to Michaela Napolitano, Courtney Nagrath, John Michael Falvey, Lauren Lopes, Nicole Clayton, Taylor Falvey, Marshall Jackson, Timothy Jackson, and Hannah Grace Jackson; and a loving great-grandmother to Nora Nagrath and Sophie Nagrath.
At the age of 42, Beverly graduated summa cum laude from Adelphi University with a degree in psychology. Her life’s work was defined by compassion, empathy, and service to others. Beverly was a member of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem, a Roman Catholic chivalric order. She directed an outreach program for St. Patrick’s Parish in Huntington, NY, and later treated individuals with agoraphobia at Terrap in Huntington. After moving to Charleston, SC, she served as a Guardian Ad Litem, advocating for children from abusive homes. In the late 1990’s she founded the Care Givers Connection in Mt. Pleasant, SC, a support group for those caring for loved ones.
Beverly had an unwavering passion for helping people and a remarkable ability to bring comfort, strength, and understanding to others. Her warmth, intelligence, and generosity of spirit touched countless lives. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.

A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 11:00 am at St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church, 2100 S.E. Cove Rd. Stuart, FL 34997. A luncheon will follow at the Mariner Sands Country Club, 6500 S.E. Mariner Sands Dr., Stuart, FL 34997.
