Allen F. Martorelli

Allen F. Martorelli, 88, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida passed away on March 18, 2024 after a long battle with cancer. His family and friends are truly saddened by his tragic passing.

Allen was born on March 14 1936 to Rocco and Christine Martorelli in NY City. He is one of four children; late Robert, late Joseph and Charles. He had 5 children from previous marriages: Allen, William, late Robert, Christine and Ronald. He married Geraldine Pitta from Long Island New York in 1984 adding 3 more sons to his family; Wally, late Michael and Joseph. He was thrilled to have 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was a devoted family man and gave his all to provide love and support for his family.

He retired from the Army in March 1996 with the rank of Major. He also worked in a variety of occupations gaining many skills which he gladly paid forward to help family and friends. In 1998, Allen and Geraldine moved to Port St. Lucie, Florida to escape the frigid New York weather, and begin his retirement. 

Allen loved life and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, laughing, joking and sharing stories and experiences. We will truly miss his stories, smile and laugh.  

A Visitation will be held on Monday, March 25, 2024, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm with a Memorial Service starting a 2:00 pm at the St. Lucie Chapel of Martin Funeral Home, 714 SE Port St. Lucie Blvd., Port St. Lucie, FL with Father Jack Barrow as the Officiant. Full U.S. Army Honors will be conducted.
